    Located in Central El Paso, this speakeasy themed restaurant has served Italian food to customers for decades. Originally the site of a spiritualist church, Monteleone’s was founded in the 1990s as an italian restaurant. For those who don’t know, a spiritualist church revolves on seances and summoning the dead, something that you would want to avoid if you don’t want to experience the paranormal. Many renovations to the restaurant have revealed artifacts from its spiritualist church era, which still may retain the energies of the spirits that still linger there. Paranormal psychics that have worked in the area mention that a portal from its spiritual church days still lingers in the property, which is where the spirits originate from. There are also many examples of paranormal activity in the  restaurant, from cold spots to the feeling of somebody watching you at all times. Other examples include lasagna pans floating off the tables, unexplained noises, and floating hands; this location has become notorious for its hauntings. One server has even reported an incident where a wine glass slid across a table on its own. Other examples of apparitions include rearranged pots in the kitchen, shadow people, and poltergeist activity. Employees have even complained about losing customers over the apparitions and paranormal phenomena. Others, both employees and customers, have reported seeing a man in old style clothing from the corner of their eyes.

I actually attended this school myself, and know a thing or two about its hauntings. When it was Houston Elementary, the entire area consisted of four main buildings, but when it was closed, it lay abandoned for some time until it was repurposed. The former Elementary school became part of the district’s early college and the buildings were then separated into two entirely new learning institutions, one being a disciplinary facility named Raymond Telles Academy and the other an early college and pre-school named CCTA. Horizon City Monster

Just outside of El Paso, Texas, in the desert suburb known as Horizon City is said to have Bigfoot roam in its outskirts.  This Bigfoot is known as the Horizon City Monster and has been spotted in the area since the 1970s. Its first encounter describes a seven foot gorilla-like creature covered in black fur and standing upright. Some even claim to have observed him drinking in the nearby lake, and that he has a mouth similar to a bulldog's. Witnesses also describe the creature, or creatures, as having catlike eyes and a strong odor.
